Danish designer Verner Panton worked for many years to perfect his idea of a single piece plastic moulded chair. In 1967 he realised this dream and with manufacturer Vitra started production the Panton Chair Classic. The Panton Classic differs from the Panton Chair Standard due to being constructed of rigid expanded plastic with a high gloss lacquered surface. |
